Yes! That’s a powerful statement, but it’s true.
Because, when we are left to our devices it’s all too easy to get distracted, have the best intentions, and produce at half-speed because it’s “good enough.”
You know you need a coach when you feel like you’re spinning your wheels. Like you are putting in your best efforts but don’t really seem to be progressing forward.
I started doing some market research for my own coaching business. And searched some of the top Facebook groups where women solopreneurs were hanging out.
I was listening to their experiences of having various coaches (health, money mindset, spirituality, business) and was gleaning a lot of valuable insight.
And then it dawned on me, this sounds like exactly what I need!...

Could it be true? Just 1 step to taking action? Not the top 7 steps to taking action?
Because if it’s not easy, doable, and something that we can manage, then most likely it’ll end up on the back burner or at the bottom of the “to do” list.
Can you relate?
So, the #1 step to taking action is taken directly from Nike’s core branding message, “Just Do It!”
We could drag this out to have oodles of steps, strategies, and systems explaining all the whys and wherefores…but honestly, do you really need that? For myself, I already know “what” to do, it’s really about putting one foot in front of the other and implementing.
Does it mean that it’s “easy?” No! But not much in life that is worthwhile and invigorating is. Sometimes just accepting that fact makes it more manageable.

From there, she approached her new business very strategically. At the time (now almost 10 years ago), the underserved keyword in the love and...
So most of you (hopefully) know the benefits of branding, but what about rebranding?
Wikipedia states, “Rebranding is a marketing strategy in which a new name, term, symbol, design, or combination thereof is created for an established brand with the intention of developing a new, differentiated identity in the minds of consumers, investors, competitors, and other stakeholders.”
When I created my initial brand, I decided I was going to use the DIY online tools that were available, like Canva, PicMonkey, and Gimp to create my look and feel. I got color inspiration from Design Seeds and Pantone.com. I found fonts on Creative Market. I took selfies with my cell. The only things that I hired out were my business cards, which I sourced on Fiverr. Here’s what I came up with:
Bruna Mebs is a lifestyle brand. She started off as a costume designer and then transitioned into full-time illustration. She quickly realized that she wanted to do more and get her work into people’s lives in a bigger way - the lifestyle brand happened naturally out of that desire.
After spending some time in NYC and LA, she currently resides in PA with her husband and bulldog Achilles.
I find that nothing fulfills me as much as being creative does. I am constantly inspired by historical movies, vintage clothing, medieval tales, and old books. Creating a brand that incorporated my art, lifestyle and the classic aesthetic that I love was and is my life's dream. I am very grateful to be able to do what I love everyday. And I hope I can help others do the same.
Bruna, like many multi-passionate entrepreneurs, struggles with so...
And so crucial to differentiate you from other people in your industry. Being a visual person, in the very beginning, I used to think having a wide array of colors and styles to represent my business showed creativity. Years later, I completely see the value of a well put together brand, with a polished logo, complimentary color palette, and flowing consistent message.
A part of the branding package also includes professional photos. Think about the powerful images that speak to you throughout the day, whether it be on social platforms like Instagram and Pinterest, or in brand ads and billboards. Visual association is increasingly the top way to attract attention, followers, and potential clients.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for the majority of my life, so I’m very familiar with the common stumbling blocks. It took me an entire year to muster up the courage to press the GO LIVE button on Facebook! Not to mention, endless days of plodding through technology learning curves (#pullyourhairout).
